How the BANDIT Took Over
March 16, 2026
Some product launches feel special. The BANDIT was something else. After the MOUSTACHE² barbershop campaign, the next association came fast:
Bandit. El Bandito. Western. Lucky Luke. Dust. Showdown. And just like that, the whole idea started rolling.

Brainstorming, the FLARE way
The marketing team locked themselves in a room and threw everything on the table. Old Western movies. Antiheroes. Rebels. Wanted posters. Slow-motion showdowns. Saloon doors. Long Tarantino-style shadows. Sure, we would’ve loved to shoot somewhere in the American desert. But we’re FLARE. So we found our own little Wild West in Munich. And honestly? It worked.
From office to outlaw
For the shoot, the entire marketing team stepped into character. Saloon lady. Bartender. Poker players. Dusty extras. Every single role played by Skywalk crew. And in the leading role, once again: our developer Benni Bölli.
This time not as a barber, but as the BANDIT. During preparations, Benni showed up to the office in cowboy boots for two straight weeks. Fully committed. Method acting, FLARE edition. We’re still not sure if he owns regular shoes.

From Munich to the Volcano
For the flight scenes, part of the team and additional pilots headed to Cape Verde.
Volcanic landscapes. Dramatic light. Wind in all the right places. The Western vibe didn’t stop at the set, it followed us into the air. Everyone was in full BANDIT mode.
And the wing?
A machine. Fast. Precise. A little rebellious.
Just how we imagined it from day one.
Benni might be our developer. But at this point, he’s also officially our icon.
We’re already wondering: What role will he take on next?
