Description
The CONTOUR is a lightweight loop strap harness designed for the demands of parakiting in soaring, snowkiting, speedflying and speedriding. It combines low weight, structural stability and comfort, and is equipped with an LTF 91/09 certified PERMAIR protector. The seat shell encloses the body securely and provides high comfort with minimal bulk. Its geometry is tuned for intuitive handling and stable flight behaviour in coastal soaring as well as alpine conditions.
Since FLARE harnesses do not require accelerators or additional pulley systems, the CONTOUR is further reduced in weight and complexity. A minimalistic 15-litre back pocket offers space for your packbag, the inflation mouthpiece for the PERMAIR protector and essential personal items. The PERMAIR protector combines the benefits of foam and ram-air systems, providing high impact absorption with low weight and compact pack size. Thanks to its modular design, the protector can be separated from the seat shell in just a few simple steps.

Specifications
The CONTOUR is designed for ultralight parakiting applications with a focus on structural simplicity and functional integration. Its geometry supports stable flight behaviour across soaring, speedflying and snowkiting disciplines while maintaining low overall system weight.
The modular construction allows separation of protector and seat shell for transport and maintenance.
Technical Data
The CONTOUR is certified according to EN 1651/1999 and additionally approved under LTF 91/09 when combined with the PERMAIR protector. It is classified as a lightweight sport aircraft in the paraglider category with an empty weight below 100 kg.
All required homologation tests are successfully completed prior to release, ensuring compliance with safety and certification standards.
PERMAIR 2.0
PERMAIR 2.0 is the refined generation of the Skywalk PERMAIR protector system.
It features an integrated inflate and deflate check valve that simplifies handling and allows efficient pressure adjustment. The protector can be inflated via the supplied mouthpiece.
The mouthpiece includes a moisture filter to reduce condensation inside the protector and is included in the CONTOUR delivery package.

FAQ
How does the harness affect flying behaviour?
The CONTOUR is a classic loop harness with a relatively high suspension point. This increases roll stability and creates a damped, controlled flight behaviour in turbulence. The effect is particularly noticeable when flying smaller parakites.
Why is CONTOUR unisize?
The harness avoids rigid stiffening elements and follows a free-floating design principle. This allows it to adapt naturally to different body sizes and accomodate a broad range of pilots with one size.
Why is foam used in the seat area?
A thin 2 mm foam layer in the seat area improves comfort and thermal insulation. It reduces drafts and increases overall seating comfort without adding significant weight.
How does the chest strap adjuster influence flight behaviour?
Adjusting the chest strap changes roll agility and stability. A tighter setting increases stability and can also reduce pressure on the inner thighs.
What should be considered with the ultralight construction?
The lightweight design requires careful handling. Avoid dragging the harness over rough or sharp surfaces and aim for upright landings to minimise wear.
