Description
The Wooden HOOK PINS are designed to prevent your parakite from sliding during challenging take-offs on steep or low-friction terrain.
They are particularly suitable for MOUSTACHE parakites and other gliders equipped with upper sail loops. The pins can be lightly inserted into the ground or snow, or weighted down with a stone or similar object. This keeps the leading edge open and the canopy stable before launch.
During take-off, the pins are pulled free and remain attached to the loops. If lost, they are made from biodegradable wood to minimise environmental impact. Always remove the pins before packing your parakite to prevent fabric damage.
