Description
The evolution of the original. BANDIT represents the high aspect progression within the FLARE range. Developed for maximum glide efficiency and precise handling, it combines speed, structural stability and direct feedback in one performance-focused parakite.
Its higher aspect ratio increases aerodynamic efficiency and expands the usable wind range. Within the FLARE System, angle of attack is adjusted directly through brake input, enabling active control of lift, pitch and acceleration in real time.
Shark Nose construction, Mini Ribs and stabilo brake integration at the wingtips refine internal pressure stability, reduce drag and enhance turning precision. BANDIT performs in coastal lift, dynamic terrain runs and strong wind conditions where efficiency and control are essential. It is a high-performance parakite that requires active pilot input and solid system understanding.

Specifications
The recommended size depends on how you plan to fly the BANDIT. A larger size provides more lift and smoother energy management for soaring. A smaller size delivers a more compact and dynamic response for faster mountain flying.
If you are developing your FLARE skills, we recommend starting on the larger size within your certified take-off weight range.
Always calculate your full take-off weight, including harness, reserve and equipment, before selecting your size.
Take Off Weight
Choosing the right size is the most important step to get the best out of your FLARE experience. Our recommended take-off weight chart helps you match your total flying weight and intended use with the correct size. To support your decision, watch the "Sizes" video in our Academy section. The Take-Off-Weight Chart shows you how dynamically the wing reacts and which skill level it requires based on your take-off weight (at 0 wind speed).
COMPARISON CANOPY LOAD OF BANDIT AND PARAGLIDER
WINGLOAD 3 - 3,5
Comparable with the dynamic behavior of a normal paraglider size.
WINGLOAD 3,5 - 4,5
Comparable to the dynamic behavior of a paraglider in the sports class.
WINGLOAD 4,5 - 5,5
Comparable to the dynamic behavior of a mini wing.
WINGLOAD 5,5 - 6,5
Comparable to the dynamic behavior of a speedflyer.
WINGLOAD > 6,5
Comparable to the dynamic behavior of a very small speedflyer (9m² or smaller).
Technical Data
In Flight
FLARE SystemÂ
The FLARE System integrates dynamic angle-of-attack control directly into your brake input.
Through a defined pulley setup, brake travel progressively mixes in rear riser control:
• C level moves at a 1:3 ratio to brake travel
• B level moves at a 1:6 ratio
This controlled mixing changes the angle of attack in a defined way and allows you to adjust glide performance and energy through brake input.
Combined with the reflex profile and its positive pitching stability, the parakite maintains line tension and structural integrity even at higher speeds. The canopy naturally moves forward and stays pressurised.
The brake handles are connected via an elastic Free Brake Line for easier launch preparation. In flight, always keep the brake handles secured in the loops and never release them.
Features
Mini Ribs
Mini ribs refine trailing-edge geometry by increasing cell segmentation in the rear canopy section. This reduces drag and improves glide efficiency as well as landing precision.
Shark Nose
The shaped air intake maintains internal pressure across a wide angle-of-attack range. This supports stability during acceleration and enhances canopy consistency.
Stabilo Brake on the Wingtip
The stabilo brake adds a more effective 2D steering input by engaging both the main brake and the wingtip section. Pulling the control handle toward you activates the stabilo brake for tighter turns. For flatter turns, start from the best glide position and balance inside and outside brake input accordingly.
RFS – Riser Fix System
The Riser Fix System is a rigid foil integrated into the lower trailing edge and stored in dedicated side pockets. It can be guided through the riser loops during packing to keep them organised and reduce line tangling. Remove the rigid foil from the loops and place it back into the pockets before flight.

Best Trim Labels
Best glide performance is achieved when the brake handles are positioned slightly below the L and R trim markers on the risers.

Nitinol Rigid Foil
The Nitinol rigid foil maintains leading-edge shape across the full speed range, supporting structural stability and aerodynamic efficiency.

Killer Mushroom
The Killer Mushroom is a ground control tool connected to the B level of the MOUSTACHE². When activated, it removes lift generation and brings the parakite down in a controlled manner. It is designed as an emergency solution for strong wind situations while standing on the ground. The Killer Mushroom must not be used in flight.

Automatic Drainage System
The internal structure guides dirt or small particles towards the wingtips, where they exit through dedicated openings at the trailing edge. This supports long-term performance and internal cleanliness.

Reflex Profile
The reflex profile keeps the wing stable at a low angle of attack and at full acceleration. The counter-arching pushes the trailing edge down and prevents a front stall. The reflex profile is essential for controlling and depowering your parakite.
