Description

The pinnacle of speedflying performance. LINE builds on the MOUSTACHE platform and refines it specifically for speedflying and speedriding. Developed within the FLARE System, it combines dynamic response, structured depower capability and precise angle-of-attack control.

The refined reflex profile improves ground stability in strong winds and maintains structural integrity during acceleration. Active energy management allows speed to be converted into altitude through defined brake input, giving you deliberate vertical control in fast, technical terrain.

In proximity flying, LINE delivers sharp pitch behaviour and predictable handling close to the ground. It adapts quickly to terrain transitions while maintaining the ability to manage speed and lift with precision.
Its extended speed and wind range combine strong dive characteristics with efficient glide performance. Precision defines the LINE experience, both in flight and during landing, where timing and control are critical.

LINE is a high-performance speedflying parakite designed for experienced pilots who require structure, responsiveness and full system understanding.

Specifications

Selecting the appropriate size for LINE is crucial. LINE flies significantly faster than standard speedflying wings, which directly affects both performance and safety. For example, the 13 m² LINE delivers performance comparable to a conventional 9 m² speedflyer. The 8 m² model can exceed 100 km/h in straight flight. This means your usual size reference may not apply when transitioning to LINE. If you want to maintain similar speed and dive characteristics to your current wing, choose at least two square metres larger in LINE. If you are intentionally downsizing, select the same size as your current wing.

The 8 m², 9 m² and 10 m² models are designed for professional pilots. Written approval from a certified FLARE partner is required before dispatch to ensure appropriate pilot matching. We do not recommend foot-launching LINE with a wing loading of 10 kg/m² or higher. For detailed size guidance based on your weight and experience level, refer to the FLARE Academy section before making your decision.

Skill Level & Wing Loading

Wing loading directly influences speed, handling and overall flight behaviour. Choose your size according to your experience and technical ability. Additionally please make sure to watch the "Sizes" video in our ‘Academy’ section, which is dedicated to support your decision on what size to choose. Our Recommended Take-Off-Weight Chart shows you how dynamically the wing reacts and which skill level it requires based on your take-off weight (at 0 wind speed).

SKILL LEVEL

WINGLOAD 4 - 5
Experience with miniwings is strongly recommended.

WINGLOAD 5 - 7
Solid speedflying experience is required.

WINGLOAD 7 - 8
Extensive high-performance speedflying experience is required, including confident handling of wings around 9 m².

WINGLOAD > 8
Professional-level experience in extreme speedflying is required, including safe operation of wings around 7 m².
We do not recommend, to footlaunch the LINE with a wingload of 10 or higher.

How to calculate the wingloading yourself: Divide your take-off weight by the designed area of your parakite. Calculate the wingloading of your current parakite to compare to the skill chart. Choose the LINE size that best suits your skills. The LINE has a large speed range. Our parakites can be compared to paragliders/wings that are two square meters smaller. For example, a 13 m2 LINE has a top speed similar to a 9 m2 speedflyer.

In Flight

FLARE System

The FLARE System integrates dynamic angle-of-attack control directly into your brake input.

Through a defined pulley setup, brake travel progressively mixes in rear riser control:

• C level moves at a 1:3 ratio to brake travel
• B level moves at a 1:6 ratio

This controlled mixing changes the angle of attack in a defined way and allows you to adjust glide performance and energy through brake input.

Combined with the reflex profile and its positive pitching stability, the parakite maintains line tension and structural integrity even at higher speeds. The canopy naturally moves forward and stays pressurised.

The brake handles are connected via an elastic Free Brake Line for easier launch preparation. In flight, always keep the brake handles secured in the loops and never release them.

Features

Shark Nose

The Shark Nose construction maintains internal pressure across a wide angle-of-attack range. This allows lower minimum speeds, extended brake travel and improved stall resistance, supporting controlled take-offs and stable handling.

Agile Dynamics

The lower aspect ratio combined with shorter line geometry increases roll response and turning precision. This results in sharper turns, higher bank angles and a highly dynamic flight character.

Enhanced FLARE System

The FLARE System in LINE is specifically adapted for speedflying. The transmission ratio amplifies brake input, enabling steeper dives and an extended speed range while maintaining controlled angle-of-attack adjustment.
