World’s First FLARE LOOP

March 16, 2026

Some ideas sound crazy at first. This one became history. Above the deep blue waters of Lake Brienz, Switzerland, the world’s first real looping with a parakite was performed (without engine power).

A full FLARE LOOP.

For years, many believed it wasn’t possible. Too much drag. Not enough speed. Too much risk. But the question stayed in the room. And once it’s there, you can’t ignore it. After a lot of discussion, video analysis and training, the breakthrough happened. The key? Keeping maximum speed and finding the right body position to reduce drag. The wing used for the attempt was specially tuned for higher speed, a prototype setup, pushed carefully and deliberately. And then it happened.

A real looping. Clean. Committed. Historic.
This marks a new chapter in parakiting and shows once again how much potential this discipline still holds. Massive respect to the pilot and everyone involved for the mindset, preparation and precision it took to make this happen.

Please note:

This was a high-risk maneuver performed under controlled conditions with a specially tuned prototype. It is not a standard maneuver and should not be imitated. Progress is exciting. Staying safe matters more. We’re proud to witness moments like this. This is what pushing limits responsibly looks like.
